it's Icon Update season!

The Icon Update process and website were launched on Friday, October 7th. Every Green Mapmaker has been invited to take part in this historic review and refinement of our globally shared iconography.
At Green Map in New York, it has been exciting to develop resources for holding local and regional conversations about each Green Map Icon (125 existing + 25-50 proposed and the over-arching organizing and outreach issues, then adding these reviews to this website.
Over the next couple of weeks, we'll add some resources and refinements.
There's bound to be some good surprises along the way as we create Version 3 of the Green Map Icons. Our eco-cultural collaboration takes another bold step forward together!
